Elephant Room – 0.2 miles
This popular Jazz club has been part of Austin’s music scene since 1991, offering a cozy and candlelit venue for great live music every day of the week. Some of the club’s regular acts include Sarah Sharp, Stanley Smith, Jon Blondell, and Michael Mordecai.
Austin City Limits Live at the Moody Theater – 0.4 miles
Become part of Austin music history by catching a show at this iconic venue, which plays host to the KLRU-TV produced PBS series, Austin City Limits – aka, the longest running music series in American television history. Featuring over 100 concerts a year, ACL Live is truly in a league of its own.
Maggie Mae’s – 0.2 miles
Home to the largest rooftop on Sixth Street, Maggie Mae’s specializes in entertainment of all kinds, including three stages of live music, a sports bar filled with big screens so you can catch the big game, an authentic English pub, and relaxed courtyard where you can mingle with friends under the Texas stars.
The Continental Club – 2 miles
One of Austin’s most famous night spots, the Continental Club regularly showcases some the finest Country and Swing bands in the city. Head upstairs to the Gallery for a more intimate experience, complete with rose-toned lighting, rotating local art on the walls, and live jazz.
Antone’s – 0.1 miles
Founded in 1975 by Clifford Antone, this iconic venue has been bringing authentic blues to downtown Austin for more than 40 years. Legendary artists like B.B. King, Muddy Waters, Jimmy Reed, Ray Charles, and James Brown, have all played here, along with helping to develop local talent like Stevie Ray Vaughan, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Bob Schneider, and Gary Clark Jr.
The Parish – 0.4 miles
Parish is a multi-genre venue that is widely regarded as one of the best best indoor live music venues in Austin. The Club has hosted musical legends such as Pete Townshend, Slash, Perry Farrell, and Thom Yorke, along with newer artists such as Alt-J, Tycho, ZZ Ward, and Bonobo. Showcasing everything from indie rock to electronic to hip hop to funk, you’re sure to find something to sing about. Parish also hosts popular events including the Moontower Comedy Festival, the CMA Songwriters series, various PBS Showcases, live podcast tapings, and more.
Carousel Lounge – 4.2 miles
If you want to venture outside of downtown Austin for great music, you’ll definitely want to hit up the Carousel Lounge. Located in a low, single-story building with a circus theme, you’ll find acrobats and tigers on the walls, and the city’s best local rock bands, indie acts and grassroots artists on the stage.
